If you've followed our story in the sailing press over the past couple of years, and thought BackTow Technology was a great step forwards in lifejacket harness design, then we have some exciting news for you!

TeamO was started in response to a fatal accident in the English Channel when a very experienced sailor fell overboard whilst still tethered to his vessel. Further research highlighted that this was not a one-off incident, many sailors were experiencing issues with their lifejacket and tether combinations, and so we set out to prevent that happening again.
Our solution, the BackTow Lifejacket, has since been nominated for 4 major design and innovation awards, and reviewed in every major industry publication. We're stocked in 20+ retailers in the UK and distributed in 5 countries. We're ready to grow again as we've got two great new life-saving products that we want to bring to market, and we think the marine industry is ready for a shake up and some real innovation.

So far we've launched our company using our own savings, and funded growth from sales. We want to move more quickly now because we think everyone can be safer whilst they are on the water. We go back to the drawing board with our products, taking inspiration from exciting technology advancements in other industries and applying them to our great sport to come up with intuitive products that perform when you need them most.
